Our brewery is located near the beach in Gisborne. Our state-of-the-art, steam powered brewhouse produces 2500L of beer per batch under the watchful eye of our brewery Manager, Jesse Foley. We may be New Zealand’s oldest independent brewery but our equipment and processes are cutting edge.


Our beer is tested and tasted every step of the way to make sure it reaches you tasting as good as it can. A hard job but someone’s got to do it, Makes up for missing all those surfing days.


The entire brewing process can be viewed from our Taproom located at the brewery while sampling our beers. The Taproom also offers pizzas and a light snack menu, beer tasting boards, and takeaway beer and growler filling, to give you plenty of other excuses beyond the 20+ taps of the freshest beer you’ll find on the East Coast.
